12" x 20" - Schluter KERDI-BOARD-SNLT Prefabricated shower niche with LIPROTEC LED lighting

Schluter-KERDI-BOARD-SNLT is a prefabricated shower niche in KERDI-BOARD which incorporates a mounting profile equipped with an LED light strip providing diffused lighting. Its pre-installed waterproof junction box ensures a code-compliant electrical connection. The niche can be recessed into KERDI or KERDI-BOARD wall assemblies. It has a 1/2 in. (12.5 mm) thick x 2 in. (50 mm) wide bonding flange and is designed for vertical installation. Three sizes are available: 12 x 12 in (30 x 30 cm), 12 x 20 in (30 x 51 cm) and 12 x 28 in (30 x 71 cm).

The mounting profile is made of anodized aluminum with a matte finish (AE). It is 11.8" (300mm) long to fit the top of the kennel and has an opening for cable routing. The LED light strip is encapsulated in a silicone tube that provides evenly diffused light and fits into the mounting profile. The LED strip emits 3000K warm white light, with a brightness of 118 lumens.

The niche includes a stainless steel junction box and cover that are inserted into the waterproof plastic junction box and factory assembled for code-compliant LED lighting. A piece of self-adhesive KERDI is also included. This is used to ensure good adhesion of the mortar and to prevent mortar from penetrating the connection box. It is not intended for waterproofing
