ARDEX A 14 drainage mortar (cement binder) is a high-performance drainage mortar with special additives and hydrophobic agents for use before laying natural stone, ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, concrete stones and paving stones on patios, terraces, poolsides, paths, roof terraces and exterior balconies. When used as part of ARDEX Exterior Tile and Stone Systems, ARDEX A 14 allows water to pass through the mortar matrix to the ARDEX ProDrain drainage mat and directs water away. water from the installation to minimize capillary action, also reducing the possibility of efflorescence, delamination, and cracked stones and tiles. ARDEX A 14 will not contribute to efflorescence.
