Description

Mapeheat Membrane is a lightweight uncoupling, crack-bridging and waterproofing membrane that also provides vapor management and load support. This patented membrane is designed to speed up the installation of tile or stone in interior rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens and three-season rooms where the luxury associated with radiant floor heating is desired. The thin profile of Mapeheat Membrane is suitable for renovation projects where a new floor is installed directly over an existing floor. When the heating cable is laid between the raised rounded squares of Mapeheat Membrane, tile mortar can be applied immediately.

• Helps prevent the transfer of horizontal in-plane cracks up to 3 mm (1/8")
• Recommended for polymer-modified mortars
