Description

The DRYGRES range of diamond drill bits is recommended for drilling all types of ceramic tiles, particularly porcelain stoneware, and other facing materials such as marble and granite. In the DRYGRES drill bit range, RUBI has used VACUUM BRAZED vacuum welding technology, which increases resistance to temperature and friction, to attach the diamond particles to the cutting area. DRYGRES drill bits, with a diameter of 6 to 12 mm, are perfect for placing bathroom accessories or any type of decorative accessory on ceramic surfaces. The rest of the diameters of the DRYGRES diamond drill bit range, from Ø 20 to 75 mm, have been designed, mainly thinking, so that the tiler can obtain the best results when making the necessary perforations for water jets, evacuations, light points, etc. DRYGRES diamond drill bits are dry cutting and can be used, thanks to their connection with the M14 thread, directly with a grinder or hammerless electric drill, using the drill adapter (ref 05976). The average lifespan of DRYGRES drills varies depending on the diameter. In the Ø 6 to 12 mm the average duration is 25 holes and in the DRYGRES Ø 20 to 75 mm the average duration is 60 holes. Average drill bit life depends, ALWAYS, on material type, thickness, and proper cooling and use. The drilling depth of DRYGRES drills is 36 mm. In diameters Ø 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, DRYGRES contain wax inside. This wax melts during use of the drill bit and makes it easier to cool and remove the remains of the drill. (If the wax runs out, the drill bit can continue to work.) Only the total loss of the diamond indicates the end of the drill's life). DRYGRES drill bits (diameters Ø 20 to 75 mm) have a side opening which improves the cooling of the bit and facilitates the elimination of solid waste after each drilling. Before making a new perforation, you must ensure that the drill bit is clean and free of any obstruction. The maximum speed of use of DRYGRES diamond drills is between 14,000 r.p.m. For a better finish and longer bit life, it is important to respect the appropriate rotation speed and make a slight orbital movement while drilling.

  • For drilling in dry walls, stoneware and porcelain tiles.
  • Maximum operating speed 14,000 r.p.m. M14 thread finish. Can be used with a grinder (direct connection) or an electric drill (adaptor ref. 05976). Delivered in blister.
