Description
Schluter-DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS is a self-adhesive membrane that includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive to bond the membrane to the substrate without adhesive cement. Quick and easy to install, the DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS uncoupling membrane incorporates a felt that performs sound attenuation and thermal barrier functions. It can also accommodate DITRA-HEAT-HK heating cables for the creation of the most comfortable tiled floor.
- Simply remove the clear non-stick film from the felt side of the membrane to expose the adhesive layer and embed it into the substrate
- If the installation area requires a membrane that meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI A118.10, please choose DITRA-HEAT or DITRA-HEAT-DUO products, for use with mortar. DITRA-HEAT-PS and DITRAHEAT-DUO-PS membranes can also be covered with Schluter-KERDI membrane, which is certified to ANSI A118.10
- Without adhesive cement, installation of the membrane is quick and easy
- If no pressure has been exerted on the membrane, it is easy to reposition it

- It also reduces heat loss in the substrate and accelerates the response time by up to 70% of heated floors installed on concrete substrates
- Installation produces less mess and requires less cleaning and tools
- Nominal thickness of 5/16" (8 mm) limits overall assembly thickness and reduces transition height with lower coverings
- It is not necessary to cover the cables with a self-leveling agent in the membrane
