Description

Description

Schluter-KERDI is a foldable, sheet-applied and bonded waterproof membrane and vapor barrier with limited crack-bridging capabilities. KERDI includes a modified polyethylene (PEVA) core with non-woven polypropylene on both sides to anchor the membrane in the mortar. KERDI was developed as a waterproofing membrane for use in conjunction with ceramic tile and stone coatings. Tiles can be installed directly onto KERDI using the thin-set method. Other trowel-applied coating materials, such as plaster, may also be used. KERDI was evaluated according to the "Standard Method for the Testing and Evaluation of Volatile Organic Chemical Emissions from Indoor Sources Using Environmental Chambers, Version 1.1" for California.

  • Features a modified polyethylene (PEVA) core with non-woven polypropylene on both sides
  • Covered on both sides with non-woven felt which allows anchoring in the adhesive cement
  • Ideal for waterproofing tiled surfaces on walls and floors
  • KERDI has a thickness of 8 millimeters and guarantees a uniform thickness
  • The 2 meter wide roll covers the wall surface from the floor to the standard height of the shower head, reducing the number of joints and speeding up installation
