KERDI-DS is a waterproofing and vapor barrier membrane that has very low water vapor permeability, making it the ideal material in continuous-use steam showers and other similar applications.

  • Polyethylene waterproofing membrane and vapor barrier in sheets
  • Avoid water infiltration which could cause mold
  • Composed of a central layer of high density polyethylene (HPDE) covered on both sides with non-woven polypropylene
  • Covered on both sides with non-woven felt which allows anchoring in the adhesive cement
  • Ideal for waterproofing wall and floor surfaces to be tiled
  • KERDI-DS is 20 mil thick and has additives, giving it a vapor permeability of 0.19 perm
