Schluter - QUADEC square profile - tin aluminum 3/8" (10 mm) x 10'

Schluter-QUADEC is a finishing and protection profile for the external corners of tiled surfaces. It has an anchoring fin perforated with trapezoid-shaped holes which sinks into the mortar under the tiles. The visible surface of the profile has a square edge near the tiled surface. The profile is available in stainless steel, structured finish stainless steel, anodized aluminum and colored textured aluminum. QUADEC provides a modern look and offers interesting contrasts. The profile combines with the QUADEC-FS strip profile and the DESIGNLINE edge profile to increase design options. In addition to presenting a decorative appearance, QUADEC protects the edge of the tiles from mechanical stress. The QUADEC stainless steel profile is very resistant to wear when used as an edge protection profile. It can also be used as a nosing on stairs or as a transition profile between two floor coverings. In addition, QUADEC can be used to create transitions, corners or chair rails with other materials such as carpet, parquet, natural stone or epoxy resin coatings. The profile has a built-in grout spacer which will allow a uniform space between the tile and the profile. Note: The QUADEC stainless steel profile does not have an integrated grout spacer. Internal/external corners and matching fittings are available. Maintenance: The Schluter-QUADEC profile requires no special care or maintenance and is resistant to mold and fungus. Clean the profiles periodically using a neutral cleaning product. Steel surfaces exposed to ambient conditions or strong chemicals should be cleaned periodically with a neutral cleaner. Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance of stainless steel and reduce the risk of corrosion. Avoid strong acids (e.g. hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid) and alkaline cleaners (e.g. bleach, ammonia, chlorine). Do not use abrasive cleaners or tools. Stainless steel surfaces become shinier when cleaned with a chrome polish. Oxidation films that form on aluminum can be removed with a regular polishing agent, but they will reappear. In the case of anodized aluminum and colored aluminum, the use of abrasive cleaners should be avoided.
