Schluter - RONDEC round profile - matte white aluminum 5/16" (8 mm) x 10'

Schluter-RONDEC is a finishing and protection profile for the external corners of tiled surfaces. The profile has an anchoring fin perforated with trapezoid-shaped holes which sinks into the mortar under the tiles. The visible surface of the profile has a round edge with a radius of 1/4" (6 mm) along the tiled surface. The profile is offered in stainless steel, solid and chrome-plated brass, anodized, colored and textured colored aluminum, as well as PVC. RONDEC's wide variety of materials, colors and finishes allows for matching with several styles of tiles and grouts and creating interesting decorative accents. In addition to its decorative appearance, RONDEC protects the edge of the tiles from mechanical stress. The RONDEC stainless steel profile is particularly wear-resistant when used as a protective profile. It can also be used as a nosing on stairs or as a transition profile. In addition, RONDEC is used to create transitions, corners or chair rails with other materials such as carpet, parquet, natural stone or epoxy resin coatings. The profile has a built-in grout spacer that helps create a uniform space between the tile and the profile. Note: RONDEC stainless steel and brass profiles do not have an integrated grout spacer. Matching corner pieces, including sink corners and fittings, are offered. Matching end caps are also available for the RONDEC stainless steel profile. Maintenance: The Schluter-RONDEC profile requires no special care or maintenance and is resistant to mold and fungus. Clean the profiles periodically using a neutral cleaning product. Steel surfaces exposed to ambient conditions or strong chemicals should be cleaned periodically with a neutral cleaner. Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance of stainless steel and reduce the risk of corrosion. Avoid strong acids (e.g. hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid) and alkaline cleaners (e.g. bleach, ammonia, chlorine). Do not use abrasive cleaners or tools. Stainless steel surfaces become shinier when cleaned with a chrome polish. Oxidation films that form on exposed brass or aluminum can be removed with a regular polishing agent, but they will reappear. For chrome-plated brass, anodized aluminum, colored aluminum and textured colored aluminum, avoid using abrasive cleaners.
