Schluter-QUADEC is a finishing and edge protection profile for the outer corners of tiled surfaces. It includes a trapezoid-shaped perforated anchor fin that is set into the mortar layer beneath the tile and a reveal that forms a square exterior corner along the edge of the surface.
The profile is available in stainless steel, stainless steel with structured finish, anodized aluminum and textured aluminum with color coating. QUADEC allows for modern decorative design and interesting contrasts. The profile can be combined with the QUADEC-FS profile and the DESIGNLINE edge profile for further design possibilities. In addition to its decorative effect, the profile protects the edges of the tiles against damage caused by mechanical stress.
QUADEC, made of stainless steel, is particularly wear-resistant when used as edge protection. It can also be used as a stair nosing or as a floor transition profile. Furthermore, QUADEC is suitable for transitions, corners or covering tiles with other covering materials, for example carpet, parquet, natural stone tiles or cast epoxy coatings. The integrated joint spacer forms a defined joint cavity with the tile.
Note: QUADEC stainless steel does not have a built-in joint spacer. Matching interior/exterior corners and connectors are available.
