Description

Schluter-TROBA-PLUS is a safe and durable surface drainage, intended to be implemented on a slope (waterproofing, slab on solid ground , etc...). This drainage is made up of a polyethylene mat, equipped with bosses covered with a permeable nonwoven. For TROBA PLUS 8G, the non-woven has a mesh size of approximately 2 x 2 mm. The space between the nonwoven-covered pads, on which the covering rests, allows drainage with a very high water evacuation capacity. When placed on a waterproofing, Schluter-TROBA-PLUS protects the latter. The bosses, arranged in a dense network, are shaped like truncated cones and withstand high pressure loads, ranging from 300 kN/m² (30 t/m²) to 390 kN/m² (39 t/m²). The air gap created between the mat with bosses and the nonwoven constitutes thermal and acoustic insulation, which protects the support against the harmful effects of thermal stress. This results in a balanced distribution of the load over the entire surface of the support. Schluter-TROBA-PLUS 8 and 8G raise the covering by 8 mm over its entire surface, Schluter-TROBA-PLUS 12 raising it by 12 mm. Small differences in level, such as irregularities (or bumps appearing in the overlapping area of ​​seals) which can lead to water retention, are effectively covered by TROBA-PLUS. However, notable defects must be eliminated before laying Schluter-TROBA-PLUS, using leveling mortar.
