Mapelastic AquaDefense is an extremely fast-drying, pre-mixed liquid rubber-based waterproofing and crack-bridging membrane for installation under tiles. ceramic or stone in residential, commercial and industrial locations. Mapelastic AquaDefense provides a thin, continuous barrier to protect adjacent rooms as well as rooms below from water damage. For additional protection in problem areas such as skirting boards, corners, cracks and drains, it can be combined with Reinforcing Fabric or MAPEI Mapeband accessories (roll strip for skirting boards and square sealing strip for references). Mapelastic AquaDefense dries in 30 to 50 minutes, then is ready to receive any MAPEI polymer mortar or epoxy mortar. Mapelastic AquaDefense can be tested in immersion after 12 hours of drying time.
